In Four Weeks - sculpture and installation by Lauren Dombrowiak   The scars and disfiguration that can occur to the psyche when a deep relationship is broken is the focus of the work in Lauren Dombrowiak's In Four Weeks.  Ceramic torsos engraved and branded provide a physical representation of the breaks of prior bonds and scarification created to hide the wounds.  Body parts sculpted in fabric and resin fill out the installation offering parts of stories of relations lost or otherwise altered.
